Hello! I'm Lilly, and I was born and raised on the Olympic Peninsula. Since my earliest days, I have always found the most love and enjoyment in the outdoors. From capturing and inspecting frogs and snails in my backyard as a child, to birdwatching, photography, and exploring the Olympic Mountains now - my favorite things have always been found in nature.
I have been enjoying photography since middle school when my friends would have me take their photo on my iPhone. I soon found an interest in capturing more - the little flowers in my yard, the textures of the trees, anything that caught my eye. As the years went by, I learned to use a real camera and never stopped taking photos. I studied photography at Olympic College, and I have worked as a photographer for a local studio, but ultimately my favorite place to be with my camera is in the mountains. I also find myself most passionate about challenging myself and having fun in the wilderness. Over time, my two favorite things have come together in a natural combination and in turn, I've chosen to share my work with fellow PNW residents and nature lovers from everywhere in the world. My goal as a photographer is to share the beauty of the natural world that we live in, providing a glimpse of it in your home through a frame as a constant reminder of the beautiful place we live. As not everybody gets the chance to experience the stunning wilderness we're surrounded by everyday, even for some never at all, my hope is that every print can translate the same wonder found in the outdoors that I experience and attempt to capture as my photos are created.
